Staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was good - old features of the house preserved. Rooms were fine. We had 2 at the same price but one had a fridge and robes (!) and the other didn't..I wondered why. It was lovely and quiet and night - so much so that I overslept. The food was good - dinner and breakfast.

Stunning old house with sympathetic additions set in lovely grounds. Dinner was good, I recommend the duck and the cheeseboard. The sausages at breakfast were excellent, and it was worth the early swim to get a table without waiting. It is twenty years since I was a regular visitor, and I personally preferred when the orangerie was an Italian inspired restaurant and not a laser lit wedding venue. The Tiramisu was definitely better then. Times and clientele change, but it is still a beautiful place where I will always have fond memories.

The breakfast was very good with a wide selection. The hotel is very pretty and the grounds are well looked after. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

Large estate, beautiful views. The swimming pool is not large but there were not many people so it was fine for us. The room was very clean as well. Beds were comfortable. Food was nice as well.

We have stayed here before and always have a good experience. The staff really do make this hotel a great place to stay. They are welcoming, friendly and always happy to help with any query. A couple of times the waiting staff had even remembered our orders from the previous days and made recommendations on what we might have liked. You can tell the hotel really responds well to feedback of its staff, as we have seen negative comments on reviews being taken on board and implemented by the next time we stay. The room was comfy and spacious, heated up quickly when the heating was turned on. The tea tray in the room is also of a really high quality which is a nice touch. The bathroom also has great water pressure and is always kept clean.

- Beautiful and historic, but modern and updated. Perfect balance and tastefully done. - Very spacious room. Big bed, sofa and armchair. - Good choice of places to eat. - Leisure facilities: pool, sauna, gym. - Just a few minutes from M4 & M5. - Grounds outside good for a short stroll.

Beautiful building with fantastic surrounding estate. Restaurant is fantastic and is a great use of an historic wing. The atrium bar is the perfect place for drinks and the library bar has the perfect atmosphere both day and night.

Beautiful location , the room was clean and beds comfortable, no air con but a fan was provided. Had diner in the restaurant and the food and service was faultless. Had some spa treatments and again faultless. All in all a relaxing evening in a great location.

- Fantastic hotel with beautiful surrounding grounds - Breakfast had a good range and good quality - Atrium and Restaurant both were excellent with high quality food and a good selection. - The room was clean with comfy beds and plenty of space. - The pool and hot tub were both great and heated to a nice temperature. - Staff were lovely and always more than happy to help. - The hotel itself was beautiful and well kept. Read lots of reviews about staff not being great, or taking too long to serve guests. We did not experience this at all. The waiting team, bar staff, and reception staff were all lovely and incredibly helpful! We would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

This is our third family visit to De Vere Tortworth Court, and once again, it has exceeded all expectations! We came to celebrate my husband's birthday, and everything about our stay has been absolutely amazing. The hotel room was comfortable and spotless, and the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were impeccably clean—special thanks to Laura for maintaining everything so beautifully. The restaurant staff were fantastic! A big thank you to Emilia, who made us feel so special and ensured our dinner was perfect. The food was absolutely exceptional. The Atrium staff were equally wonderful—Sergiu and Felicia were welcoming and made our experience even better. We were fortunate to stay during the Christmas fairs and fireworks, which added a magical touch to our visit. Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay. Thank you, De Vere Tortworth Court, for another unforgettable experience! We can’t wait to return.
